about

Who started horrocore? Gravediggaz or Flatlinerz? this is a debate that is still ongoing to date.

“When the HipHop world in the early 90's made a left with Gangsta Rap, these guys took a right and started their own genre of hiphop calling it Horrorcore.” — Kevin Gill

Deemed Def Jam Recordings most controversial group of all time, The FlatLinerz paved the way for artists as they created the genre of Hip Hop called Horrorcore which has since became an underground and semi mainstream phenomenon. With a Hip Hop royalty lineage, the group is led by front man Jamel "Redrum" Simmons, both nephew to co-founder of Def Jam Recordings Russel Simmons, and Joseph "RevRun" Simmons of the iconic Hip Hop superstars RUN DMC, along with his equally as lyrical partner Gravedigger, the 2 have an appetite for knowledge which gets hurled at audiences with deadly precision making their records stand out from other artists, putting the listener in a world of horror and occult like themes.

This is latest of Horrocore series cooked up at BSOM labs for those that enjoy this sub-genre.

Keeping in tradition of horror movies its being listed 13th Friday, and released 11th September.
